ScaleLiftr (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a marketing technology and automation platform. We assist online retailers (“Clients”, “Partners”, “Merchants”) in increasing engagement and online sales from their website visitors (“Users”) through a suite of conversion optimisation technologies (“Technology”).

ScaleLiftr acts as a third-party data processor, collecting, storing, and using data as determined by our Partners (“Data Controllers”). The legal basis for processing and data retention periods are set by our Clients and relevant legal frameworks (such as CCPA, GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, etc.).

This Privacy Policy explains the information we collect through our Technology and services (“Services”), including the dashboard our Clients use to manage their campaigns (“Dashboard”), and how we use that information. For any questions, please contact us at camila@scaleliftr.com.

Where ScaleLiftr is a data controller (e.g., web form submissions on scaleliftr.com), the legal basis for processing may be legitimate interest (where our interests are not overridden by Users’ rights) or consent, depending on the type of information and context.

NOTICE OF FINANCIAL INCENTIVE

This Notice informs you about any financial incentive or “price or service difference” we may offer in exchange for your personal information, as defined by the CCPA and similar regulations.

• To receive such incentives, you may provide personal information (e.g., email, phone number, IP address, device type, browser) at the point of collection. The nature and amount of the incentive will be specified at that time.
• You may opt out of financial incentives at any time by contacting us as described in this policy.
• The value of your personal information is determined by each Merchant and is generally equal to the value of the incentive offered. ScaleLiftr does not assign a separate monetary value to the data collected.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

ScaleLiftr collects and uses both Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) and Personal Data to provide services and improve the shopping experience on Merchant websites.

• PII: May include name, email, and phone number, typically collected via online forms. We only collect PII as provided to us and use it as directed by Merchants.
• Personal Data: Includes IP address, cookies, browser and operating system type, mainly for troubleshooting and technical support. We regularly delete old data and can pseudonymise PII at a Merchant’s request.

As a Data Processor, we collect data on behalf of Merchants (Data Controllers), who may use it for marketing or personalisation. You may request details about your data, its use, storage, or deletion at any time by emailing camila@scaleliftr.com.

USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

ScaleLiftr does not disclose, store, or share end-user PII or pseudonymous information with any sites or apps other than the Data Controller requesting the data for their marketing purposes.

We use collected information to provide marketing services, improve user understanding, offer better recommendations, and enforce our Terms of Use and other applicable policies.

COOKIES AND IP ADDRESSES

We collect pseudonymous information (e.g., ISP name, IP address, browser, OS, access times, referrer) to administer marketing engagements and compile statistics.

ScaleLiftr uses first-party JavaScript cookies on Merchant domains, not third-party cookies. Cookies are optional, but some features may not work without them. Cookies may be used to personalise marketing based on past behaviour.

TEXT MESSAGE (“SMS”) MARKETING

By providing your contact information, you consent to receive SMS marketing from our Merchants. Consent is not required for purchases. You may opt out at any time by replying “STOP” and can opt back in by replying “START”. Message frequency and rates are determined by the Merchant and your carrier.

AGGREGATION AND USE OF ANONYMOUS DATA

We may aggregate data to create anonymous statistics and demographic information, which may be shared in reports or case studies, but never in a way that reveals PII. ScaleLiftr uses Google Analytics on its domain properties. For more information, see Google’s Privacy & Terms.

DATA SHARING

ScaleLiftr does not disclose, share, or sell personal information collected from Users on Merchant websites to unaffiliated third parties.

Occasionally, we may offer services with Affiliate Networks or Agencies that require sharing your information with those third parties. Please review their privacy policies before participating.

DECLINING INFORMATION

You may opt out of ScaleLiftr marketing messages as described below. Processing your request may take a reasonable amount of time, as allowed by regional laws.

If you decline further information or cancel your account, ScaleLiftr may still use your information to provide eligible products or services and may contact you about administrative matters.

SURVEYS

ScaleLiftr may offer online surveys. Participation is voluntary. Surveys may request personal information, which may be used to contact you or as otherwise described. Survey results may be published anonymously.

CHILDREN

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18 without parental consent. For sites intended for children, additional privacy practices are in place.

GENERAL ISSUES

Referrals and Rewards

• Each Merchant’s programme may have unique participation and reward terms.
• Rewards are subject to limits, expiration, and Merchant discretion.
• Promotions are for US residents only and cannot be combined with other offers.

Data Processing

• Merchants are Data Controllers; ScaleLiftr is the Data Processor.
• We collect and process PII as required by the Merchant’s programme.

Removal from Referral Programme

Disclaimer of Warranties

• The programme is provided “as is” without warranties. Use at your own risk.

Conduct

• Prohibited conduct includes violating laws, infringing rights, spamming, or fraudulent behaviour. Violations may result in termination.

Limitation of Liability

• ScaleLiftr and its partners are not liable for any damages arising from use of the programme.
